Wake Boat Weight Limit
The use of larger, heavier wake boats on a specific section of the Willamette River is causing harm to aquatic ecosystems, damaging fish habitat, and resulting in erosion of riverbanks. This bill limits the weight of towed water-sport motorboats (also known as wake boats) to a maximum of 4,000 lbs and authorizes an Oregon State Marine Board study.
